The existing open beam with tongue-and-groove ceiling is reminiscent of the Eichler designs - preserved and refinished in the new version, complete with bamboo floors.

The new kitchen complete with island and wine rack, an ample pantry closet (just to the right of the refrigerator), recessed lighting in surrounding soffit, and granite countertops for that clean, modern finish.

Here's a better look at the custom soffit that accentuates the character of the kitchen.

This window seat area was a heart's desire for the owner as well as an essential part of bringing the beautiful Anderson Valley view inside.

A longer perspective shows the dining room and the spectacular expanse of bamboo.  Notice the dark trim and red accents that suggest an Asian flair.  As an interior designer, the owner has a keen eye for color and furnishings.

The new master bath complete with soaking tub and view to the outdoors.

Here is more of the master bath - custom vanity with double sinks and unique faucets.  Enjoy the rich feeling created with the deep colors of the walls and cabinet stain.

First impressions set the stage here at the beautiful front entry door.   Ample space was included for welcoming guests and shoe area.

The living room spills out onto the deck through this generous slider with an extra fixed panel for maximum view and light.

We used the owner's home milled redwood for this beautiful deck area.   The south-eastern exposure makes this a great place to be nearly year around.
